HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

Trying to add a new wireless network (T-Mobile Modem) to my HP Officejet Pro 8610, and it will not connect.  Have 9 other devices connected to this network.  Finds the wireless network but does not connect after entering the password.  the network is 2.4G.  Have talked to T-Mobile and cannot resolve issue.  thank you

@ALOV2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP officejet pro 8610!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

1. Confirm Basic Requirements

Frequency: The HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 supports only 2.4GHz WiFi, which your T-Mobile modem seems to have — good.

Password Check: Re-enter your WiFi password carefully (case-sensitive).

Distance: Ensure the printer is within close range of the modem/router.

2. Restart Devices

Turn off your printer, T-Mobile modem, and any WiFi extenders.

Wait 1 minute.

Turn the modem back on.

Once the modem is fully up, power on the printer and try connecting again.

3. Reset Printer’s Network Settings

Resetting can help clear any old configurations:

On the printer's control panel, go to:

Setup (wrench or gear icon)

Network Settings

Restore Network Defaults

After reset:

Go to Wireless Setup Wizard.

Select your T-Mobile network from the list.

Enter the WiFi password carefully.

Try connecting again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
