connection printer to android

Hello, the tablet to which my printer was connected through bluetooth had broken down completely so now I want to get the printer connected to my new tablet but I'm asked for a password to get access to DIRECT. I don't remember installing a password so my question:  could this be a default password? Thanks for your help.

Yes, typically when a device like your HP LaserJet M110we printer creates a Direct Wi-Fi connection (often denoted as DIRECT-xxxxx), it may have a default password set by the manufacturer.

The default password is usually provided in the printer's documentation or can sometimes be found on a label attached to the printer itself. Commonly used default passwords for such connections are often simple, like "12345678" or "admin", but they can vary depending on the HP.

Hi Alden4 and thank you for your reply which was helpful indeed. However I discovered that the HP Laser Jet M110we is not supported by Android 13 so it is kind of sad to find out that I can no longer use this (only two year old) printer device on my tablet or smartphone which are both running on Android 13. Will there be updated drivers avaible in the future? I would like to give that "thumps up" but I can't seem to find the button on the bottom right of my screen to do so. Anyway, your help is highly appreciated.
