Hi @boleonard,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printing errors on the HP Envy Photo 7155!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Error Messages:

  • Carefully read any error messages displayed on the printer or your computer screen.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to resolve them.

Connection Check:

  • If you are using a USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected.
  • If connected wirelessly, confirm the network connection is stable and the printer is connected to the correct network.

Printer Status:

  • Verify that the printer is not paused or offline:
    • Open the Devices and Printers section in your Control Panel.
    • Right-click on the HP Envy 7155 and choose "See what’s printing."
    • Ensure there are no checkmarks next to "Pause Printing" or "Use Printer Offline."

Set as Default Printer:

  • Make sure the HP Envy Photo 7155 is set as the default printer.
    • In Devices and Printers, right-click the printer icon and select "Set as Default Printer."

Clear Print Queue:

  • Open the print queue and cancel all documents or purge print documents to clear any stuck print jobs.
  • If there are still documents in the queue, restart the computer and attempt to print again.

Restart Print Spooler:

  • In Windows, restart the Print Spooler service:
    • Open Services from the Windows Administrative Tools.
    • Find Print Spooler, right-click and select Properties.
    • Ensure Startup type is set to Automatic and click Start under Service status if it is not running.

Check Drivers and Software:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers and software for your printer installed. You can download them from the HP Support Website.

Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for the printer on the HP support site and apply it if there is.

I hope this helps.
