Just when my 1 year warranty was about to end, the printer lost communication with the web service. The message in the subject keeps displaying. I have contacted HP support and they have not resolved the issue. I  have followed all suggestions i.e. change IP to static and add a DNS. removed the ink cartridge and replaced with new ones. Same problem which make my one year old printer unusable.

I appreciate your help in advance.

Hi,

From any connected Windows 10 PC, please follow the latest HP Printer update Utility to make sure the printer firmware is updates, this is crucial for a web services connection:

Thanks for the reply however I don't have a windows PC only a Mac with Big Sur Ver 11.1. Well I think the printer is updated with the latest. The firmware version is MANHTNPP1N002.2038C.00.

Hello,

Thanks again for your help, however the problem persists. My printer is updated to the latest firmware: MANHTNPP1N002.2042A.00 Some more history, contacted HP support again and for the fourth time they had me reset to factory default and change the IP to a static one and put in a manual preferred DNS 8.8.8.8 and an alternate 8.8.4.4 again same problem. This is the definition of crazy.

Any other suggestions will be appreciated. I am at my wits end with this issue. I don't want to buy another printer but if I can't get it fixed then what other choice do I have.
