Hello i have a hp p 1505 n printer i can use it on USB but as soon as i have connected the network cable it will crash the machine completely unusable i have tried firmware update and hard reset how do i fix it asap.

I'd like to help!

 

Normally when network-connected printers freeze its because there is a bad job being sent from another network connected machine.  Its either a bad job or your printer is losing network connectivity and dropping from the network.  This commonly happens with network connections on printers when printers go to sleep or hibernate.  The lack of activity is sometimes flagged as a dead port to the router and the router retracts the printers IP address to be used by the next connected device.

 

And printer supports only  TCP/IP network protocol
