my printer won't print, the job shows in the print que, when I go to system, printer, it says paused, default

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer is paused and unable to print, I am glad to assist you.

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. Click Print & Scan, select your printer in the list, and then click Open Print Queue. Resume a paused printer.
