HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One Printer - B209a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Photosmart 209A printer worked just fine for years.  Then, unexpectedly, when  I had ATT update the router, it can't locate it now.  This is what I've tried so far, I tried restarting the printer, unplugging it and plugging it back in, restarting my router, and resetting my router (which knocked down my internet in the home for hours). Everything else in the home from my desktop, laptop, and cell phone all pick up my network, but my printer can't find it. It just says "No Connection Found" on the touchscreen. I even have 2  speeds - both a 2.4G and 5 G wireless connection, as I know that these printers need 2.4 G.

I ran a Wireless Network Test Report and it says it cannot find an SSID. But when I printed off an HP Network Configuration Page it states that it has discovered 16 networks EXCLUDING both of mine. ( 2G & 5G)

My wireless router is a ATT - BGW219. I did not install it, the tech from my service provider did. It looks brand new. I have no way of upgrading its firmware (whatever that is).

PLEASE HELP !!   ASAP.   I  really need a printer today to get  work done .

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I have some results from the  Scan Doctor 5.7.1 for you if it will help diagnose AND REPAIR this wireless connectivity issue.

  The Internet connection =YES  ( the blue wireless light is lite !)

 Signal strentgh = 99%

SSID = 2.4Ghz

Router IntelDual Band Wireless- AC3168

The network name  Found on the Wireless Network Test report says FAIL.   The printout at the top of this report says "YOUR HP PRINTER CANNOT FIND YOUR  ACCESS POINT. CHECK THAT YOUR ACCESS POINT IS POWERED ON.  CHECK THAT HYOUR HP PRINTER NETWORK NAME  (SSID) MATCHES HYOUR ACCESS POINT NAME (SSID) EXACTLY. IF THEY DON'T MATCH EXACTLY, RUN THE WIRELESS NETWORK SETUP TO CONFIGURE YOUR HP PRINTER

Question: how do i check this "access point" and verify the name??   Every time I try to connect with the PUSH wireless setup menu on the printer display ...  it say FAILS TO CONNECT!
