I have a brand new HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e that I'm trying to connect to a new MacBook Pro running MacOS Monterey Version 12.01.1. I've downloaded HP Smart on the computer, but have not been able to connect computer to printer, despite numerous attempts at shutting down, disconnecting, and rebooting the printer. The printer's set-up screen seems frozen at set-up. Swiping up, down, sideways, etc., has no effect on the set-up screen. The result is that I cannot get to the control panel Dashboard, from which the manual says I can get connected. The blue wifi light does not come on when I turn on the printer. This is really frustrating. The HP manuals say that I can solve my problem via the control panel Dashboard. This is of no help when I can't get to the control panel Dashboard. Help/suggestions are welcome. Thanks. Do I have a defective control panel?

Thanks BH. Unfortunately, I can't get past step #1 on the guide because, when I power up the printer, it is not connecting to my WiFi system. The blue WiFi light does not illuminate and start blinking. I've tried moving and powering up the printer in different locations in my house, to see if that makes a difference, but it does not. My computer has no trouble connecting to our Wifi system, so it's not the system that's not working. Do I have a defective printer?
