My wireless connections falls out when the printer goes to sleep since I installed eero

My friends HP Envy 7134 AiO had the same problem. I noticed that the printer lost its IP-address.

I solved  this by giving the printer a fixed IP-address in the range of the DHCP-server (is this the WiFi-router (eero?) in your case?), but outside the automatically assigned addresses.

However, now the printer rests connected to the WiFi-network, but is not seen by AirPrint if the printer is in sleepmode and can not be awakened by iPhone/iPad. (see my post on this problem with no solution yet).

Thanks.
I went through all that with the HP help WhatsApp, which is a good support system.
There seems to be no solution other than rebooting when the connection through Eero falls out or linking the laptop and printer through my BT connection:(

Have you given the printer a fixed IP-address in the DHCP-range of the Wifi-network, but outside the range of the automatically assisgned IP-adress-numbers?

In my case (HP Envy 7134) this solved the loss of the connection.

Rests the problem that the AirPrint protocol can not wake up the printer from sleep mode.
