Hi. Could you please send me this solution as well? Thanks.

Same problems.  Try to scan to email today and conistentlyt get "Unable to connect to Web server.  All other operations seem to work including app, scan to computer, printing.  I have gone through steps to reset Manual DNS as found in other posts and still not able to scan to email.   It worked fine last week and today won't scan.  I have also used the HP Printer and Scan Doctor download from hp site and got all green passing remarks but displays "No email program associated to perform the reuest.

My email is on the printer's list.  I have also reset the PIN and updated that in the printer.

I have also turned and printer off a couple times to see the effect-nothing.  The only thing I haven't done is restart the router but dont know if that has anything to do this this issue since it seems to find my computer to scan to it just fine.

What's the problem?  Thanks

Greetings,

You must first setup an WIFI connection (Recommended WPA2) or RJ45 (Hard Plug-in). Obviously, ensure that internet is functioning properly prior and then establish a connection to the printer manually assigning IP Configurations e.g. IP Address, Subnet Mask, DF Gateway and DNS address/ (WINS -If applicable))

Best Practice:  Utilize the software disk that can with your HP Product to setup and install device, this is a effortless transition and  process and cut down on time = Less headaches and Discussion board posts:)

Continuing Thought:

After completion of  HP Printer setup, please attempt to scan a document of some sort and send to "your" personal email address. (DO NOT put someone else's email address because the PIN# will be going to this address for security purposes and will be needed).

Special Notes:

1. You will be sent a personal 4 digit pin# to your personal email address to establish authentication/access rights....use this 4 digit pin when prompt on the printer.

2. After successful entry of 4 digit PIN# - You can then determine, if your email should be saved (Recommended) and if your pin# should be saved (Optional)

3. Now, Send your document to specific email address.

Notes:  Initially, may have to hit "Retry" for connection  a few times and then wait for the processes to finish.

Kind Regards,

setting it up is not the problem. Thats been done and working fine for 2 months. The problem that I reported was that it stopped working properly and now gets an error message of "unable to connect to the web server" and not scanning to email.

:smileyvery-happy:No, Problem- I undertsand you thoughts.

I guess the best way to explain this is to "recheck" settings then "Reboot" HP Printer because, if anything has changed on your network connections e.g. Router/Access Point then you must do this.  Remember, you may have to click "Retry" a few times when re-establishing a connection- This is normal for some reason however, please follow the Best practices explained previously.

Lastly, please check to make sure that you has granted enough devices "access" within your router or access point.

Kind Regards,

Yes I've done that multiple times and no different results I rebooted the router twice as well as was suggested in earlier posts.

Hello

I have purchased the HP Photosmart 7525 and I may admit that I do fancy it. I own it since three weeks ago after I purchased my sexy Macbook Air.

I have been using all of its feautures, Print, Fax, Scan, Copy except that I am not able to print at all the applications (Quick Form-DreamWorks-HP Crafts &Calendar).

When I tap any of those apps, the followinf error message can be read:

The printer was unable to connect to the server. Check the internet connection

The error cannot be true since the printer is operated via the wifi and as mentioned previously, it works except to print Apps.

Can you please assist me in order to make this HP 7525 fully workable?

Hi, After reading and trying all of the solutions here, I'm still out of luck for most of the ePrint and Webservices

What works:

* Printing/Scanning from Macs or Windows machines (Latest Mac OS, Windows 7/ Windows 😎

* Embedded Webserver

* emailing to my printer at hpeprint.com (implied that the hpconnected.com setup worked and I was

   able to claim my printer, rename it and email to it)

* printer wireless reports connected to internet

* the ePrint connectiosn look OK both on the printer and the embedded webserver

What does not work:

* no app on the console works, they always give "Apps Updating, Please wait..." then "Cancelling"  (as if they never updated, but during the initilaization they did up date and it did spit out the hpconnected.com instructions)

* scanning to email - prior to the first reset, I tried to scan to email, it asked for email and sent out a PIN correctly, which I entered, but never received the scan, even after being told that it had been sent. Post SFR scan to email no longer sends out a PIN (multiple forgot PINs tried)

Clearly the Device is connected to my local wifi and clearly it is connected to the internet, so we have some number of issues we just don't understand yet.

What I've tried:

* chaning the DNS entries to the google dns (note, router has same DNS entries)

* I tried the semi-full reset procedure outlined in msg #158 (thanks for that, pretty handy to know about)

* reset wireless connection numerous times

* turned everything off then on again...

Miscelaneous

* HP 7520

* Router is a Airport Extreme (one of the most reliable and trouble free I've ever used)

* Router DNS is also set to the google DNS

* Product # CZ045A

* Service ID 23352

* Printer Serial # is TH3AT712FD05YY

* Printer Firmware ELM1CN1320AR-0

* No system error codes reported
