I finally fixed this problem once and for all. I went out and bought a Canon MG7120. Connection to their cloud services was very easy, and when I print it doesn't keep telling me I am using the wrong paper. The clerk at Office Depot told me she thought HP support was a joke and their products are sub par. I will never buy another HP product....ever!

I've had this issue too... but there's a really simple way of fixing this. Reset the factory settings. Sorry. You'll have to reset your daily crosswords.

In settings, go to Tools, Restore Factory Defaults. You'll need to set up the wireless again. Go to the Scan function and set it up. It'll print out a set of instructions that tells you to loggin to HPconnected.com. I logged in to HP and noticed my printer wasn't there anymore, but the printed set of instructions gives you a printer's claim code that allows you to add the printer to your account. Once your printer is added to HPconnected.com, you should be good to go. Good luck!
