Hey can i also get the information on how to set my printer back to factory settings much appreaciated I am having trouble with it and have tried everything from unistalling the printer to reinstalling it but nothings works.

Hi mel2502, welcome to the HP Forums. I understand your menu's on the printer are advancing on its own. This sounds like stuck buttons on the front of the printer. The most you can try is a hard reset really. Turn the printer on, and pull the power cord. Hold the power button down to discharge power, and wait 60 seconds before plugging it back in and start it up again.

My printer won't show me an IP address, and my HP wireless set up programs crash every time I try to use them. Can I get the hard reset info to see if maybe then my printer will output its wifi signal to connect to, or develop an IP address?

Please help me i also need a factory reset. no matter what i do i cannot connect to my wifi!!!!! I've done everything imaginable and nothing works. 😞 Please send me an email with instructions!!!!!!
