I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 and I'm using WORD 2007. In word I can select custom envelope and put the correct size in. But when I go to print, A7 envelope isn't a choice and there isn't a custom option. What size can I choose from the list to make the printer, print an A7 envelope?

If the 450 did not work for you follow the steps above and use the 990c driver this time. You may have better luck. Let me know the results.

To use an alternate print driver for HP printers in Windows 7:
1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Click on Devices and Printers.
3. Right-click on your printer.
4. Select Printer Properties.
5. Click on the Advanced tab.
6. Click on New Driver.
7. Click Next.
8. Select HP from the first list.
9. Select Deskjet 450 from the second list.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Finish.
12. Click Apply.
13. Click OK to close the window.

I tried your clever suggestion, but it did not work for me.
My printer is an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. My computer is running Windows 7 with MSWord 2010.
Back with the original 8600 driver, I can print a 5"x7" (which is a supported size), but not a 5-1/4" x 7 1/4".
Any thoughts?

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! I have a HP Officejet 6310 and was struggling to get my Xmas envelopes printed. Your post really helped. The DeskJet 450 is not listed, but 990c worked like a charm. Now my envelopes are done!! Thanks so much!!!!

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 and first I tried changing the driver to the Deskjet 450 and my envelope wouldn't print so I tried changing the driver to the 990c driver and my envelope still won't print. And now my printer won't print at all when I changed it back to the 8600 driver. I can print from ipad with no problem, but when I print from my computer I get a message that says it's offline. HELP!!!

Hello pruttybird. I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. If you don't know how to do that, refer to these links:
How to uninstall printer software: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02259020
How to install printer software: http://www8.hp.com/ca/en/support-topics/printer-installation/install-download-printer-drivers.html
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please respond with your computer's operating system, and how the printer is connected to the computer. I'm only here to help!

The driver for the B210 supports the following.
#10 | 104.8 × 241.3 mm (4.1 x 9.5 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
DL | 110 × 220 mm (4.3 x 8.7 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
C5 | 162 × 229 mm (6.4 x 9.0 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
C6 | 114 × 162 mm (4.5 x 6.4 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
Monarch | 98.4 × 190.5 mm (3.9 x 7.5 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
6 3/4 | 92.1 × 165.1 mm (3.6 x 6.5 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
A2 | 111.1 × 146.1 mm (4.4 x 5.8 in) | Up to 15 envelopes |
With this being said, I would suggest you can use an alternate driver, follow Shane_Rs instructions as listed below.
1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Click on Devices and Printers.
3. Right-click on your printer.
4. Select Printer Properties.
5. Click on the Advanced tab.
6. Click on New Driver.
7. Click Next.
8. Select HP from the first list.
9. Select Deskjet 990c or the Deskjet 9800 from the second list.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Finish.
12. Click Apply.
13. Click OK to close the window.
Hope this works.
