Try the defaults for most EWS's. Use admin for the user name. The password might be several different things. Try leaving the password blank, try password for the password, and try admin for the password. Try them all lower case, then make the first letter upper case if lower case doesn't work. Let me know if what happens.

none of it worked 😞
admin with Admin, admin, password, Password, blank
Administrator with administrator, Administrator, Password, password, blank
is there a way to reset the credentials, or to reload the device?

A reset that might clear it would be a Semi-Full reset. To get a Semi-Full reset done you have to call tech support. You can reach them at 1-800-474-6836 in the U.S. and Canada. International users click here. You can check your warranty status here. If your out of warranty, tech support may have to charge you.

First thing you'll need to to is see if your printer works with the Printer Control App. You can find a list here that contains the web services printers and the web services they work with.
Once you determine if your printer works with the app or not, you will need to download the Printer Control App from the app store on your iPad. You can find more information about the Printer Control App here.
