Did you ever get an answer?  

 

I cant do any of the poweroff/on resets (holding down the right arrow and cancel).  

I'm locked ...

NO REPLY AS OF YET, SEEMS LIKE HP DO NOT WANT TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, I HAVE NOW BEEN TRYING TO GET THEM TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE FOR OVER 8 MONTHS, IN MEANTIME MY PRINTER IS SITTING THERE NOT WORKING, ITS MAKES A GOOD DOOR STOP !!!!!

Hi and hello, if you have not found a fix for this issue yet this is what I did to fix it. I powered off the printer then held the back button down and powered it on, Bam! error gone. Hope this helps.
