Hi.  From the log, it looks like the application is having difficulty accessing the printer, possibly because some other software is locking the channel.  Can you try

- Run a command prompt as administrator, and type "net stop Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)", then try launching the "HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series" shortcut.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm sorry it still hasn't worked so far.  Can you download this handle utility from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896655.aspx, and run this from an adminstrative command prompt?  Please paste the results here.

- handle -a Device\0

Also, can you open up Windows Device Manager (Manajer Perangkat), look under "Imaging Devices" for "HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series (USB)".

- Then right click and select Properties.

- Go to the "Details" tab

- Pull down the Property listbox and select "Physical Device Object name"

- Then note down the value.  It should be something like \Device\0000xxxx

Thanks for your patience.

hi sorry

can you give me steps in typing the command to run such zip file you mentioned above ?

HP Recommended

Hi.  Double click on "Handle.zip" and Windows should show the files contained in the zip file.  You should see 2 files - Eula.txt and handle.exe.  Select "Extract all files" (under the Explorer bar) and type in a folder to save the files.  You should then open a command prompt (as administrator) and change directory to where you saved the file.

Hope this helps.

Hi.  It seems like there is something wrong with the communications channel but I still can't figure out why.

Is your printer plugged into an external USB hub?  Can you plug the printer directly to your PC?  If it is already connected directly to your PC, can you try changing to other USB ports?
