@dehansie, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "Unable to print. Rendering failed" error typically indicates a problem with how the print job is being processed, often due to driver conflicts, Windows updates, or corrupted print queues. Let’s walk through some steps to resolve this:

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, computer, and router.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on.

Clear Print Queue

  • On your PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your printer > Open print queue > Cancel all jobs.

Remove and Reinstall the Printer

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your printer > Remove device.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Re-add the printer via Add device.

Reinstall HP Printer Software

Update Windows and Printer Firmware

  • Ensure Windows is fully updated.
  • Check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or HP Support.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
