Hi @WillyBII,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the error you're encountering with your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer, specifically the "error creating print job n1905," can be frustrating. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Clear Print Queue:

  • Open the Services app (Win + R and type services.msc).
  • Find the Print Spooler service, right-click it, and select Stop.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in this folder.
  • Go back to the Services app, right-click on Print Spooler, and select Start.

Uninstall and Reinstall Printer Drivers Completely:

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w and select Remove device.
  • Go to Programs and Features in the Control Panel and uninstall any HP printer software.
  • Open Device Manager and expand the Printers section.
  • Right-click on the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w (if listed) and select Uninstall device.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Download the latest drivers from the HP website and install them.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for updates and install any pending updates.

Set the Printer as Default:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w and select Set as default printer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix issues.

Check Printer Port Settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w and select Printer properties.
  • Go to the Ports tab and ensure the correct port is selected. It should typically be a USB or WSD port.

Check for Conflicting Drivers:

  • Sometimes, multiple printer drivers can conflict. Make sure only one instance of the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w driver is installed.

Update Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support site and update it if necessary.

Try Printing in Safe Mode:

  • Restart your computer in Safe Mode with Networking.
  • Try to print a test page to see if the issue persists.
