My 2600 series all in one printer will scan, copy and run reports so I’m guessing it’s a print queue issue I’m experiencing. I’ve had this issue for about three weeks now.
I print from my iPad and iPhone and have tried to solve the problem by looking at online content. I keep coming across instructions to use the diagnose and fix function but the icon does not exist (or I simply cant find it.
what should I do?
I need to print some items and feel frustrated as I’m paying for the print/ink subscription.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

Hi @Mushu123
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Use this lnik to cleare printer Queue, click here
Additionally try these steps:
Check the Print Queue
Access the Print Queue:
- On your iPad or iPhone, open the HP Smart app (if you haven't installed it, download it from the App Store).
- In the app, go to the printer's settings or management section to check the print queue.
Clear the Print Queue:
- If there are any stuck jobs, cancel them from the queue.
2. Restart Your Devices
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it, wait a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart iPad/iPhone: Restart your iOS devices to refresh their settings.
3. Check Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure that both your printer and iOS devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- In the HP Smart app, check the printer status. If it’s offline, you may need to reconnect it to the Wi-Fi.
4. Update the HP Smart App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. Check the App Store for updates.
5. Reinstall the HP Smart App
- If the app seems unresponsive, try uninstalling and then reinstalling it. This can help reset any settings or glitches.
6. Re-add the Printer
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Tap the “+” icon to add a new printer.
- Follow the prompts to add your DeskJet 2630 again.
7. Run Diagnostics via HP Smart
- While the "Diagnose and Fix" function may not be visible, you can access the "Printer Help" or "Troubleshooting" sections in the HP Smart app for any available diagnostics.
8. Print a Test Page
- Once everything is set up, try printing a test page from the HP Smart app to see if the issue is resolved.
9. Reset Network Settings on Printer
- If you're still having issues, you may need to reset the network settings on your printer. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
