macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Brand new 2632 does not print from MacOS 10.13.
Status: HP smart installed, printer added to ,,Printer & Scanner,,. Print queue visible, finished jobs also visible. Scan & copy work, printer status printed, both cartridges aligned.
Only problem is non-functional print via USB cable.
(WiFi Direct function turned off due unstable wifi signal).

Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-

  • Go to System Information to check the USB detection- try different port and cable if not detected.
  • If you are using a USB Hub, disconnect and connect the cable directly from the printer to the computer.
  • If there is any antivirus/security software installed on the computer, disable it and try printing.
