I am trying to troubleshoot non-compatible cartridge issue using HP Smart app for iOS. I have replaced both cartridges with new reman cartridges. The printer does not show up as available in the app. Does the cartridge issue have to be cleared first in order to make the connection? I have done a hard reset (Power cord) and also the semi reset within the printer controls. Is there anything more I can do to get my printer back to a useable state? Thank you!

If you have performed all the steps from this document that says cartridge errors, then either the printer or the cartridges are faulty.
