Hi @momo954,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 printer is locked offline and displaying a blinking power-on light, there are several potential solutions you can try to resolve the issue. Here's a step-by-step guide.

Check Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is properly connected to the power source.
  • Ensure that the USB or wireless connection between the printer and the computer is secure.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for a few minutes.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer access door and check for any paper jams.
  • If there is a paper jam, carefully remove the paper.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • If the problem persists, there might be a hardware issue.

Factory Reset:

  • As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings you have configured. Consult your printer's manual or HP support for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve overall performance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
