Why do my 4x6 photos not print properly . Attached are two attempts at printing the same photo (one MS Publisher and one PDF) The machine is set up for 4x6 and so is the sending software, but still I get this white band at the bottom and a distorted photo. Any ideas why, or is it that printing 4x6 is on the printers "wish list", but doesn't really work?

Try a different program to print the picture. I have had issues with Microsoft image printer not working properly.  Printer may also not have enough memory and you might want to try printing at a lower resolution.

I agree MS is not the most reliable, hence the second photo is a PDF.

It could be that this is too big for the printer's memory, but 6X4" is about the smallest photo you can do, so if it can't do this it can't do any photo. A4 seems to print fine so not that one I would have thought.
