The printer (M283fdw) is throwing an error 59.C0. Turning off/on doesn't help. I tried to resolve it by removing all cartridges and adding them one by one but despite that the error keeps coming back. I also tried with resetting to defaults, without success. Please could someone help me?

Does the error come back after a particular cartridge is installed? If yes you probably have a bad cartrdge.
