Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to clean the printhead. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- When did this issue start?
- Did you do any hardware or software changes?
Meanwhile
Printhead is not a removable part in this printer.
However, you can clean the printhead using automatic tool:
Align the printhead using the printer control panel.
On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon
.
Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.
A test page prints.

Examine the test page.
If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.
- If the print quality is acceptable, touch Done
Click here and refer this HP document for more assistance.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

I have had this problem for about three months. It stops printing whether from software or using the copy function. I have not changed software.
And yes, i have used the printhead clean command to clean the printheads. Sometimes it take 4 or 5 cleanings, and the black blocks still show streaks.

worked perfect, I had tried it yesterday but i was swiping like it was a phone thinking that was what I needed to do. I had also hit the setup icon the dash board before swiping ( thinking I new better) and i could not find the maintenance programs. So I followed your instructions and on the second clean it printed out a perfect test page.
Thank you
PS I had already gone and priced a new one, Glad I came home to review one last time.
