OfficeJet 7610
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,I am from Palembang, North Sumatra, Indonesia .

My printer HP OfficeJet 7610 was broken, it can not load paper. i have bought it to an authorized service centre. They said it can not be repaired because the spare part for the part that is  broken is unavailable.  They don't find a part number for it from the spare part list.

So they tell me that it can not be repaired. I has to buy a new one .

Can you tell me is it true ?

How can HP don't support replacement sparepart for the part that can be broken.

This is a middle end printer , not an low end printer.

Does anyone have a solution for this ?

Hello @riang16, Greetings!

Thank you for joining HP Forums. I am happy to help 🙂

I am not very clear which part is broken in your printer. Hence I am not sure whether the part is replaceable or not. But you can visit HP Part surfer page http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx to check for the part number of the part that was damaged. You can also order the part if available.

Alternatively, you can also contact HP tech support to get the part replaced if the part is replaceable even if the printer is out of warranty. Please go to http://hp.care/2boAq6i and select your region and fill in your product details to get the tech support number.

Let me know if it helps!

Cheers 🙂

Dear Dvortex,

thanks for your reply. First I don't know which part is broken. so i can't visit HP Part Surfer to check for the part number.

then i try your alternative option, the second one. i am trying to contact the HP free line support, 0800-111-2-111, but it can never be reached.

i tweet to @hanyaHP untukku , which is HP representative twitter account for indonesia, it just reply the same. please go to service centre for my problem.

I want to say that I had bought my printer "OfficeJet 7610" to the AUTHORIZED SERVICE POINT, it say it cannot be repaired because for the part which is broken, they don't find a number part for it.

Maybe the service point technician is not good enough or HP didn't provide the sparepart for the broken .

My printer damage is just  it can not pull a paper to print.

below is the receipt from the authorized service point.

Please help me to follow up.

Thanks a lot
