HP ENVY Photo 7830
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My HP Envy 7830 Printer appears twice in print dialogs

Once as "HP ENVY Photo 7800 series (Network)" and once as "HP6803B7 (HP ENVY Photo 7800 series)"

The printer is cabled Ethernet connected.

Both definitions print to the printer but use different printing defaults which is confusing.

I would like to get rid of one or other of the definitions - any ideas welcome

Thanks

Martin

Hello Roopa-S

Thanks for your reply.

Well I removed the printer but then found I could not print.

So I readded the printer and now it is there with only one profile - so a positive result but it did take a while.

the system prompted me to add it to HP Instant Ink - all a bit confusing

thanks
