HP Recommended

I have a Mac, using OS Sonoma, recently replacing my previous Mac. Every time I try to print from my HP Envy Photo 7855, it gives a false "out of paper" printer error. There is plenty of paper in the printer. The network for the printer and the Mac is the same. Any guidance?
