HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw

I would like to know how to reset our Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw to factory defaults to eliminate the possibility that the latest firmware update didn't interfere with us getting the 79 service error all of a sudden? What else does that 79 service error pertain to? I've tried whatever has been recommended by this forum.

We had this issue start to happen on multiple printers in our environment starting around today (2021-04-22).

The issue appears to be limited to printers that were registered with the (no longer supported) Google Cloud Print service.

Here's a link to my comment with more details in another thread:

Good luck!

Thanks for help. Your solution did help but there was other things I did that ended up correcting the situation,

I disconnected LAN, phone and power cords then purged system by pressing power button.

Left all cords unplugged for couple of minutes then held the bower button for a couple seconds while attaching power cord.

After initializing and in Ready state reset to factory defaults before printer changes its mind.

Came up clean no errors after the reset. Test Printing etc. went as it should and 79 service error has not come back.
