HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hello dear people - I'm hoping someone can help break the madness of the 79 service error. Upgraded our router last night and since then our HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375nw has entered the never ending cycle of 79 service error, power off and on, madness. I've tried to reset it - it can't be reached through a usb cable, the online wizards don't think it needs a firmware update and I can't even get it to print a test page. It will photocopy. Any ideas before I take it to the curb to be hauled away with the rest of 2020 🙂

Thanks in advance.

Disconnect all cabling from the device and wait five minutes. Then plug in the power cable and power unit on to see if it comes to ready when not attached to the network. If it does, then likely you may have a corrupted driver. Delete all drivers from your computer and reinstall as if it was a new printer. Were you connecting via network before or via usb? You may need to try an NVRAM reset. I have sent you a PM with instructions.
