Hi @Fizzypeach,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code "83C0000B" on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e indicates a problem with the printhead. This error typically occurs when there is an issue with the printhead alignment or connectivity. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the error.

  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
  • Check printhead alignment: Press the "Setup" or "Menu" button on the printer control panel. Navigate to the "Tools" or "Printer Maintenance" menu and select "Align Printhead" or a similar option. Follow the on-screen instructions to align the printhead.
  • Clean the printhead: Press the "Setup" or "Menu" button on the printer control panel. Navigate to the "Tools" or "Printer Maintenance" menu and select "Clean Printhead" or a similar option. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the printhead cleaning process.
  • Reinstall the printhead: If cleaning the printhead didn't resolve the issue, you may need to remove and reinstall the printhead. Consult your printer's user manual or HP's support website for detailed instructions on how to remove and reinstall the printhead.
  • Update printer firmware: Visit the HP support website and search for the OfficeJet Pro 9022e printer model. Look for any available firmware updates for your printer and follow the instructions provided to update the firmware. Firmware updates can sometimes fix bugs and improve printer performance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
