Hello, I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e, I recently installed a new set of HP ink cartridges, after placing them in, the screen has stayed on Validating… Please Wait. I have tried unplugging if from the power source along from the wall plug, and it does not seem to work. It has stayed in this same state for multiple hours. I would greatly appreciate some assistance. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer screen is stuck, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
