HP Laserjet Pro MFP m225dw. After the print job is done, it's printing several pages with a few lines of "random" text. First page says:
POST /ipp/printer HTTP.1.1
Content-Length: 179
Content -Type: application/ipp

Hi @Marilynk1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Laserjet Pro MFP m225dw is printing several pages with lines of seemingly random text after a print job, it is likely that the printer is displaying the PostScript error page. This page typically contains information about the print job and any errors that occurred during the printing process.
The text you provided appears to be a snippet of an HTTP POST request, indicating that the printer is trying to communicate with a remote server. This is a normal part of the printer's operation, as it may send status updates or other information to the server.
To troubleshoot the issue, follow these steps.
- Restart the printer: Power off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then power it back on. This simple step can often resolve temporary glitches.
- Check for firmware updates: Visit the official HP website and search for the latest firmware updates for your printer model. If there are any available updates, follow the instructions provided by HP to download and install them. Firmware updates can sometimes fix bugs and improve printer performance.
- Reset the printer to factory settings: Consult the printer's user manual or HP's support documentation to find instructions on how to perform a factory reset. Resetting the printer can help eliminate any configuration issues that may be causing the unexpected behavior.
- Verify print driver settings: Ensure that you are using the correct and up-to-date printer driver for your operating system. Visit the HP website or use the software provided with the printer to download and install the latest driver. Double-check the print driver settings to make sure they are correctly configured.
- Check for print job errors: On your computer, access the printer queue or print spooler and check if there are any print job errors or pending jobs. Clear any stuck or failed print jobs, and try printing again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I was using the printer remotely, so I connected with a USB cable and that seemed to correct the problem. I did try to update the driver, but kept getting a message that my browser did not support it. Anyway, it's working now.
Thanks!
