So at first I could print. Everything fine. Had some trouble with setting up the printer without a HDP account, but it worked.

Then, a while back the orange ! went blinking. When I pressed it, the printer printed a page with the text: "A problem has occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print very soon."

As far as I know I don't have a HP account and I don't want one. So I ignored te message. This went OK for a few months. Everytime I turned te printer on I had to wait for the error-page to print, very annoying, but printing was possible.

Today the orange ! is blinking again, but now the error-page says: "A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print. Exept for printer reports ... Check your HP account for more information."

Since I don't have a HP account, how can I resolve this?

PS: I own a HP Laserjet M110w

I assume you have the m110w and not the m110we printer

There is not enough information to help you find the problem
This explains how to use the EWS which can report the details of the problem

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Page 4 of the user manual shows how to print reports.  Possibly a status report will explain the problem.

If the printer needs an HP account then just use the username and password that got you into this site.

As far as I know only the "we" model needs internet access unless you (or someone) accidently signed up for an HP contract when registering the printer.

>> thx, but this just gives me the same info.

Printer cannot print. A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print, except for printer reports, until the issue is resolved. Check your HP account for more information. To learn more, open the HP Smart app or visit www.hpsmart.com and sign in to your account.

>> The printreport is what gives me the info that a problem occurred but doesn't state the problem.

>>HP isn't very friendly on te user interface-part, so maybe I did...

I hope setting it back to factory-setting is gonna help.

This video shows how to reset the printer.

If you recently upgraded the printer firmware or just purchased some ink cartridges you may have 3rd party ink (just guessing).

New firmware may be checking the ink source.

To check if an HP ink cartridge is genuine, look for a security label on the cartridge, scan the QR code on the label with your phone, and then go to HP's website hp.com/go/ok to verify the serial number on the label; if the label appears tampered or the serial number doesn't validate, the cartridge is likely not genuine.
