Hi,
I was recently given this printer (brand new), and wanted to try printing a photo. However, In the printer properties dialog, I have no way to select both A4 and 'Borderless'. It is A4 photo paper, so it's not an issue of paper type. I selected the preset for 'photo printing - borderless', but it won't let me select that size - only smaller. If I have it right from the specs, A4 should be supported, as sizes up to 216x297mm (A4 size is 210x297mm) are supported.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I would be happy to help you with your HP OfficeJet 4650 Printer. I understand that you are unable to print borderless and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
- Right-click the photo you want to print, select Open with, then select Windows Photo Viewer or Paint.
-
lick Print, or click File or the menu icon
(Paint), then click Print.
The Print or Print Pictures window opens with general print job settings.
-
Open the printer Document Properties window to access more layout, quality, color, and advanced print settings.
-
-
Use this guide to find and use print job settings for photos in the Document Properties window. Menu names and available print settings vary by printer.
-
If the Document Properties window has a Printing Shortcut tab, select one of the photo print job shortcuts that has essential settings already selected for you.
-
he Printing Shortcut tab might include shortcuts to print borderless.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

Thanks for replying.
I've used the shortcut to print borderless, but it only gives me certain size options (not including A4) as shown here:
I've also selected these setting through advanced options:
But this brings up this dialog stating there are conflicting settings:
I can't seem to find a way to print borderless in this size so far, at least not through the settings windows I know about. Is there anything else I could try/what could be the problem?

Thanks for your reply. I tried to contact phone support, but to get a phone number required entering my printer details, and I wasn't able to find contact details in the end as the printer is out of warranty, I don't feel that this is an issue that should require a warranty though, as it seems very plainly to be a driver issue. Do you have a phone number I can use to get support with this issue then?
Additionally, I have since tried printing a borderless A4 photo from my phone, which worked fine (albeit with quality issues, partly due to low ink). This seems to be further evidence the issue is not the printer, but the Windows drivers.

I'm fairly disappointed you offer no decent free support for how to use your products as they are advertised, unless they're within warranty.
Through a lot of messing around I did eventually manage to solve the issue myself. For anyone else that may have this problem, I uninstalled all HP software, removed the device from 'devices and printers', and removed the drivers through 'print server properties (accessible thorough 'devices and printers'). Because the last part failed at deleting one file, I reinstalled the printer driver, and uninstalled the device (along with deleting drivers) through 'device manager', before doing everyhting else again. When I reinstalled the printer through HP's software, it now allows me to print borderless on A4.
I can only presume the issue is preinstalled drivers within Windows 10, but I don't know enough about computers to be certain.
