Laserjet Pro MFP M127fw - ADF tray was giving paper jam error. Cleaned out the try and rollers with damp cloth according to instruction on this site. Still getting the same error.

Loaded 1 sheet of paper in the ADF and no sound made by scanner. Unplugged printer USB and Power Cord from Back, and wall socket. Waited 3 mins, held the power button down for 30 seconds and plugged back in.

Now error on compute is saying - "The scanner Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) does not contain any pages. Insert the pages to be scanned into the ADF and try again. "

The pages are in the ADF - still no beep from printer when loading the paper into the ADF.

Hello @Salman127 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

ADF Sensor Pro200-4.png

Press this lever down, then a message should appear in the display, something like this "Original is inserted".
If no message appears, then the sensor is defective. The sensor must then be replaced by a printer technician.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
