Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I had a paper jam error.  I pulled the paper tray forward, emptied it  and turned the printer over.  Removed the whole sheet of paper from the back. I then got an Access door is open message.  I have opened and shut everything but it wont clear.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Make sure the input tray is firmly closed. Check for any obstructions in its path.

 

Refer to this document to know how to clear a paper jam and replace the tray - Paper Jam Error

 

If the error persists, I''m afraid this could be a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
