How can I add (append) pages to an existing PDF file using HP Easy Scan on a MacBook Pro ?

I am connected to an HP Photosmart 6520 AIO printer/scanner/copier.

HP Easy Scan works, but there is no printer driver available for this printer with the MacOS given above.

But, I don't see a way to append pages to an existing document.

Is HP Easy Scan able to do this ?

Thank you

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

If I understand the issue correctly, you would like to scan a new file and add it to an existing PDF file on your Mac, am I correct?

I would like to help

First scan the new file to your Mac, then use the Preview feature in Mac to combine those PDFs

  1. Open a PDF in Preview.
  2. Choose View > Thumbnails to show page thumbnails in the sidebar.
  3. To indicate where to insert the other document, select a page thumbnail.
  4. Choose Edit > Insert > Page from File,* select the PDF that you want to add, then click Open.
  5. To save, choose File > Export as PDF.
