HP LaserJet Pro M15w Printer

I updated the firmware of my printer hp laserjet pro M15w. Before installing the new firmware the printer was running OK.

After the installation of the firmware I have the "power" light and the "attention" light that are bliking together.

I can not connect the printer any way, not by usb, not by wifi... I can't do anything.

What can I do? Thank you!

Hi @sebelu ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP LaserJet Pro M15w printer after a firmware update, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Press and hold the resume button (the button with a small piece of paper icon) on the front panel.
  • While holding the resume button, turn on the printer.
  • Continue to hold the resume button until the lights stop blinking.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams in the printer. Open all access doors and check for any stuck paper.

Update Firmware Again (If Possible):

  • If there is a possibility to reinstall or update the firmware, try doing so again. Make sure you are using the correct firmware for your printer model.

Factory Reset (if necessary):

  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to perform a factory reset. Remember that this will erase any custom settings you have on the printer.
    • Check your printer manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
