Still no luck, is it possible to have a developer team look at this, I’m confident it’s an issue with your Alexa Skill, or you HP Connected services, not with my hardware.

I'm having the same issue, I've reset everything and tried multiple solutions, non have worked yet. As you say it seems like it must be a server issue on hp or amazon's side. Has anyone been able to resolve this?

I am having the same problem.  Brand new HP 6968.  All eprint functions work.  Just won't recognize my printer email name.

I know this is just nitpicking now, but when you ask Alexa do can you just say 

Alexa, ask my printer to print a colouring page.

Or do you have to split it up
Alexa, Ask my printer, 
then wait for the HP welcome, 
then make a request.
 
If I make my request in one string, it will always print a help page, regardless of the request. 
 
I’ve sent an email to voice.print@hp.com to thank them for fixing the account linking, and mentioned this further issue, I just want to know if it’s just me though, I have speech issues, and I’m lucky Alexa can recognise me 95% of the time.

Finally working for me too now! (the account linking bit, havnt had change to test it out yet)
