I am unable to do ANYTHING with this printer... all I want to do right now is scan a document. 

Printer status shows as "Alignment is not finished" - but I don't have an alignment page to scan.

I changed the ink cartridge's a couple weeks ago, so they are not empty. I did the alignment page at that time, and tossed the printed page.

I have restarted the PC to reconnection to printer.

I have restarted the printer.

I have removed the printer, and reconnected the device.

I have unplugged the printer for >60 seconds, then plugged it back in.

The warranty expired on 4/2/2022 - today is July 2, 2022 - bummer.

I have not hit it with the hammer, yet.

Any suggestion before I get the biggest hammer I can find?

UPDATE:  I went ahead and installed new ink cartridge's, and it printed an alignment page.  I was able to scan is, and all is well once again - no hammer needed.
