@Shreshta24, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Smart Tank 529 All-in-One Printer

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When all the lights on your HP Smart Tank 529 All-in-One Printer are flashing and blinking during or after the printing process, it usually indicates a hardware issue or an error that needs attention. Follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Check for Error Messages

  • If your printer is connected to a PC, check for any error messages on your computer screen.
  • If there is a specific blinking pattern, let me know.

Power Cycle the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the wall socket.
  3. Wait for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Plug the power cable back in and turn on the printer.

Check Ink Levels & Ink Tanks

  • Ensure that ink levels in the tanks are above the minimum required level.
  • If an ink tank is too low, refill it with the correct HP ink.

Inspect the Printhead & Cartridges

  1. Open the printer cover and check if the printhead is properly seated.
  2. Remove the printhead and reinstall it securely.
  3. If the printer uses cartridges, check if they are properly installed.

Check for Paper Jams

  1. Open the printer’s front and back access panels.
  2. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
  3. Close all panels properly and restart the printer.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to HP Support and download the latest firmware update for your printer model.
  • Install the update and restart the printer.

Perform a Factory Reset (If Needed)

If none of the above steps work, reset the printer:

  1. Press and hold the Resume & Power buttons for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Release them when the printer restarts.
  3. Reconfigure the printer settings.

Let me know how it goes!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
