@Randy7474, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printing Issues with Quicken on Fusion Running Windows 10!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When trying to print from Quicken Classic Premier on Windows 10 through VMware Fusion on an Apple MacBook Pro, and it is not functioning as expected, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Setup on Windows:

  • Ensure that the HP 7520 printer is correctly installed and set as the default printer on the Windows 10 virtual machine within Fusion.
  • Navigate to "Devices and Printers" in Windows 10 and confirm that the HP 7520 is visible and set as default.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for the HP 7520 printer compatible with Windows 10.
  • Install these drivers within the Windows 10 virtual machine.

Fusion Printer Configuration:

  • Check the VMware Fusion settings to ensure that printers are being shared with your Windows 10 virtual machine.
  • Go to "Fusion" > "Settings" > "Printers" and ensure that "Enabled" or "Share Mac printers with Windows" is selected.

Quicken Software Checks:

  • Ensure Quicken is updated to the latest release or patch. Sometimes, printing issues can be resolved with an update.
  • Within Quicken, reselect the printer by going to "File" > "Printer Setup" and make sure the correct printer is selected.

Test the Printing from Windows Environment:

  • Try printing a test page or any document from another application in the Windows 10 environment to ensure that the printing function works outside Quicken.

VMware Tools:

  • Ensure that VMware Tools are installed and up-to-date in the virtual machine as it offers better integration between the host system and the guest OS, including printing services.

Network Considerations:

  • If the printer is network-based, ensure that the network configuration allows the Windows VM to connect to the printer, just like the MacOS.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
