Hi @Grissa,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand when all the lights on your HP Smart Tank Wireless 450 are blinking simultaneously, it usually indicates a critical error. Here's a systematic approach to address this issue:

Steps to Resolve the Issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions:

  • Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or foreign objects.
  • Ensure the printhead and cartridges are properly seated.

Reset the Printer:

  • Disconnect the power cord while the printer is turned on.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 15-20 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and reconnect it to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on.

Examine the Ink Levels and Printhead:

  • Ensure all ink tanks have sufficient ink levels.
  • Open the printhead area and verify that the printhead is installed correctly and securely.

Check for Error Codes:

  • Look for an error code or message on the printer's control panel or HP Smart app.
  • If an error code appears, note it down for further troubleshooting.

Update Firmware:

  • If the printer initializes, ensure the firmware is up to date via the HP Smart app or HP's website.

Perform a Factory Reset (if possible):

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Gaya1239,  thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately no luck. Spend about 2 hours on the HP Chat line and tried many things including your suggestions. Thought I’d fixed it after resetting my wireless router and resenting the printers connection to it. Came on-line for a little while, did a test print. But then fell back to the all lights flashing error condition. Note: don’t get an error code? Just about ready to through the printer out…. So frustrating.
