Product: HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer - L411a

They have a propensity to "lock up" with all the lights flashing. HP's help is not that helpful without having the full description of the trouble available. What I found with the "all lights flashing" issue is the adjustable paper guide apparently has some mechanism that can malfunction (sticky??) and lock the ink carriage up on the left side causing the dead printer all lights flashing. Moving the paper guide to the right will free that and fix the printer. It can then be put back into the proper place and all will be well until whatever sticks inside the printer does it's thing again.
