As stated in the subject " All the lights are blinking fast, and the letter E blinks normally in the segment display counter", however one of the local service provider suggest to change the mother board as its the problem, we replaced with the new board and the issue still continues, however i tried all the options provided in the Knowledge base still no luck. What may be the issue? some say its the carriage and some say its the board. Help me out.

I understand that All the lights are blinking fast, and the letter E blinks normally in the segment display counter.

 

Please perform the hard reset and check.

 

Turn the printer on, if it is not already on. 

 

Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue. 

 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. 

 

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. 

 

Wait at least 60 seconds. 

 

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. 

 

Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer. 

 

Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. 

 

Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed
