All the lights on the printer display are flashing and the letter "E" is flashing.
I am unable to print and the printer shows as "offline" and I cannot reconnect to it.
I have tried hard resets and downloading and redownloading firmware

@Charles15893, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP DeskJet 4133e printer showing a flashing "E" and all lights blinking, causing it to be offline and unable to print!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Since you've already tried hard resets and firmware updates, let's go step by step to fix it.
Identify the Exact Error Code
- Press the "i" (Information) button on the printer.
- Check if any number appears next to "E" on the display.
- If you see a number (like E1, E2, E3, etc.), let me know for specific troubleshooting.
Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the front and rear access doors and check for any jammed paper.
- Remove any torn paper bits carefully.
- Close all covers and turn the printer back on.
Reset the Printer
- Unplug the power cord from the printer while it is on.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- Check if the error persists.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Open the ink access door.
- Remove both cartridges (black & color).
- Reinsert them securely.
- Close the door and restart the printer.
- If any cartridge is low, try replacing it.
Restore Wi-Fi & Reconnect Printer
If your printer is offline and won’t reconnect:
Reset Wi-Fi Settings:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the power light blinks.
- Your printer will restart and enter Wi-Fi setup mode.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- Use the HP Smart app on your phone or PC to reconnect the printer to your network.
- If it still shows "Offline," remove the printer from your PC (Control Panel > Devices & Printers) and re-add it.
Let me know the exact error code (if any) or any changes after these steps! 🚀
Take care, and have an amazing day!
