Does the tray extender automatically extend upon printing a page or does it have to be pulled out manually every time I print? The printerI had before this one had the extender extend automatically but its not doing it with this one. Is something wrong with my printer or does something need to be changed in the settings in order to get this to work? Unless I manually pull out the extender, the printed papers just fall to the floor after being printed which is annoying. So if I'm in another room and want to print, I would have to walk over to the printer first, pull out the tray extender, and only then print, or just leave the tray extender out all the time I guess. I liked the automatic tray extender feature on my other printer, does this model not have this feature.

The printer does not have an automatic output tray extender. It has a manual tray extender, so you have to manually pull the tray out.

Hope this helps,
