B109N
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my B109N printer wont pick up paper from the paper tray. The mechanism drops & rollers spin but dont pull it upinto the printer. It tries twice then the "out of paper" message pops up.

If I put a slight upward curl on a page and push paper in about 25mm it works ok but a flat full or partial stack it won't do it

You will need to clan rubber pickup rollers because they got dirty from usage.

If your printer has a back door that can be removed you can use cotton swabs and some cleaning agent to slowly clean and rotate rubber roller that feeds paper into the printer.

I managed to clean the rollers but found it could be the actual mechanism, as they dont continue to rotate and pull the paper up when they are lowered onto the paper stack so I'm guessing the drive gear could be worn our (ie stripped cogs).

Thanks for you efforts, looks like its time for a new printer
