Microsoft Windows 11

Hello.

This error (blue screen) suddenly started to happen after i moved the printer from a phisical place to another.

I don´t have any jammed sheet of paper.

I have no lack of ink.

I already unpluged and plugged as recomended.

I didn´t find a clear answer about how to solve this error so far in this Community´s similar reported problems.

Maybe so instructions on how to reset it will help ?

Please advise.

Thank you so much in advance.

Regards,

MAAB

Hi @MAAB111 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like the B8084696 error on your HP ENVY Inspire 7200 series all-in-one printer is causing a blue screen issue on your Microsoft Windows 11 system. While this error might not be a common one, there are a few general steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Restart Your Printer and Computer:

  • Turn off your printer and computer.
  • Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the computer.
  • Wait for a few minutes.
  • Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer and computer.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Even if you don't see a jam, carefully check all areas where paper travels in the printer for any small pieces of paper or debris.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP official website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Make sure your Windows 11 operating system is up-to-date with the latest updates.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • HP provides a tool called "HP Print and Scan Doctor" that can automatically diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. You can download it from the official HP website.

Reset the Printer:

  • On your printer, locate the power button.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds until the printer turns off.
  • Wait for a few minutes, then turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello Gaya1239.

Thank you for your reply in trying to help me. Much appreciated.

I find out that my printer was still inside warranty period (for more 2 months  🙂  ) hence, it was sent immediatelly to HP for analysis and fix. I am waiting for news from them for the next 30 days.

I will post here later what was the problem - if they explain that in the fix report.

Thank you.

Best regards,

MAAB
